Q: Do you allow campfires?

Yes, campfires are allowed in designated areas, however,
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, Majestic campers will NOT be able to bring their own firewood with them.  Firewood is available at the campsite for a minimal fee.  Large Wagon Load for $20 or ˝ load for $10.

There are a few BAD BUGS that are transported easily on Firewood from other States and we do NOT want them in our forests.  News from Harrisburg and the USDA Forest Service is asking for our help to prevent the spread of the “Ash Borer” that could be deadly to our Ash trees.  This bug is known to be in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Ontario, Canada .

Also there is the “Asian Long-Horned Beetle” that comes from Illinois, New York, New Jersey and Toronto, Canada .

These bugs have claimed more then 10 Million trees in Michigan alone.  Other unwanted bugs are in the Eastern part of Pennsylvania that do not exist in the Western part of the state.

The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture has a quarantine on bringing ANY firewood into the state of Pennsylvania and also has quarantined the 4-PA counties of Beaver, Butler, Lawrence and Allegheny. Violators can be fined or sentenced to jail.  Fines can reach $4,000.

PLEASE help comply with this request as to protect our local forests!  Please click here for more information.

Q: Does my ATV or dirt bike have to be registered or insured?

We do not require Registration or Insurance but the State of Pennsylvania does.

1.  We do recommend for your own protection that you carry insurance and register your machine.
2.  You must be aware that Pennsylvania requires most ATV's to be registered.
We will NOT be held liable if you are caught.  Fines can and will be imposed by DCNR if you are caught.  DCNR will accept out of state registrations.
3.
Cost to register your machine with the DCNR is ONLY $20 for two years.   You can register your machine in Pennsylvania even if you are from out-of-state.

Q: Can we ride double?

No double riding because the hills are too steep for riding double.
It is dangerous for the driver as well as a passenger.  If your machine is designed for two riders, it will be allowed.

Q: What are the rules of the Park?

• Remember that you are a GUEST.
• No alcoholic beverages.
• Stay on marked trails or stay home.
• Any horseplay endangering other riders will NOT BE TOLERATED.
• No riding fast or spinning out in the Parking Area (we know that is hard for some as they think that this is spectator sport and it is cool, but the majority of others do NOT appreciate the dust, mud and stones being thrown at them and their children, nor do we appreciate the damage that can be caused).
• No riding fast or spinning out in ANY grass area.
• Respect others.
• Tread lightly (help prevent ruts by NOT riding in the same path as the one in front of you. Try to straddle tracks when possible. If there is already a deep rut on a curve or off-camber trail, do NOT try to straddle as it could cause you to tip or rollover.)
